Following the Social and Development Impact Bonds, EVPA members Rockefeller Foundation and Yunus Social Business are introducing a new results based instrument to fund social business, where payments are made by a foundation upon the reach of predefined outcomes.  The Social Success note allows capital to flow into underfunded sectors deemed traditionally too risky or unprofitable for mainstream capital.
Yunus Social Business (YSB) and The Rockefeller Foundation are working together to launch the pilot in 2016 with one of YSB’s investment-ready social businesses.

You can find out more about the initiative here.
