AVPN Webinar: Creating Impact-Learning from Failure
Date: May 28th, 2015
Speaker: Holly Piper, Senior Investment Manager at CAF Venturesome

“Ever Tried. Ever Failed. No matter. Fail again. Fail better.”- Samuel Beckett

Failure is important. It is only by accepting failure and learning from it that better decisions can be made in the future. Understanding what causes one investment to fail is just as important as identifying what drives success in another. Learning from failure is essential for ensuring accountability, improving decision making, strengthening the portfolio management and most importantly increase the ability to make an impact.
Charities Aid Foundation will discuss and share with us the learnings that they have gained from failure as well as their internal “failure appraisal” system.

Please register for the event via the following link.
