About the course

AI Can Work! – Artificial Intelligence Upskilling Program for Filipino Workers is a practical training program made possible by AVPN’s AI Opportunity Fund with support from Google.Org and ADB. It is designed to equip potential and existing employees with essential AI skills that they need to stay competitive and productive in today’s rapidly changing world of work.

This AI upskilling program is built upon AVPN’s AI Modules and contextualized into the day-to-day applications focused on three target sectors – Unemployed, Service Sector Workers, and MSME Employees. Ultimately, the Training Program will strengthen the Employability of Job Applicants while radically increasing the productivity of Existing Workers through AI Knowledge and Tools.

Module Structure

  • Intro to AI

    Understand the fundamentals of AI and its relevance to your work. By the completion of this module, you will understand the basic of AI and gain insights into its potential and constraints, along with strategies for incorporating it into your daily work.

  • Maximize Productivity with AI Tools

    Discover GenAI tools and their practical applications to various work tasks. By the conclusion of this module, you will be equipped in using AI to make yourself much more productive at work!

  • Discover the Art of Prompt Engineering

    Master proper prompt engineering, the foundation of AI tools. By the end of this module, you will be able to formulate concise and targeted prompts, and generatieoutputs that superboost your productivity.

  • Use AI Responsibly

    Navigate the ethical use of AI by addressing biases and inaccuracies. By the completion of this module, you will understand the principles of responsible and effective AI usage, most especially for your work environment.

  • Stay Ahead of the AI Curve

    Develop a continuous learning mindset for AI advancement and future-proof your professional career! By the end of this module, you will formulate a strategy to always be on top of ongoing AI developments.
