About the course

This programme provides frontline workers with practical, culturally aligned AI literacy grounded in behavioural science. The curriculum is structured to reduce cognitive load, build confidence, and enable responsible long-term use. It opens by introducing AI as a simple, supportive helper through relatable examples and local-language demonstrations, helping workers form early mental models of how AI fits naturally into their day-to-day roles. They explore how AI can simplify information, support clarity in communication, and organise routine tasks, while also recognising where human judgment, context, and empathy remain central. Videos, group discussions, and scenario cards draw directly from frontline realities, allowing workers to surface norms, compare experiences, and collaborate on practical, community-aligned rules for use.

Module Structure

  • Curiosity • AI Kya Hai (What is AI)?

This module is designed to spark curiosity and reduce fear around AI. Participants interact with AI playfully, through drawing, images, translation, and voice, without needing to “understand” AI technically. The focus is on experiencing AI as something friendly, fun, and accessible.

  • Freedom • AI Kaha Use Hota Hai? (Where is AI used?)

This module helps participants understand where AI fits into their lives and dreams – personal, family, and work-related. AI is positioned as a tool that can support thinking, imagining, and creating, not replace people.

  • Show and Tell • Mera AI, Meri Unnati (My AI, My Success)

This module helps participants apply AI to their real lives – personal growth, business, and aspirations. AI is framed as a support system that helps move wishes closer to reality.

  • Safety • Samajh aur Savdhaani (Safety & Risk Mitigation)

This module transforms the group into a team of “Digital Detectives.” Instead of listing technical threats, we play games that challenge their street smarts. Participants will learn to spot “Digital Bahrupiyas” (impostors/deepfakes) and “Sweet Traps” (fake offers). Crucially, they will learn how to use their “AI Genie” not just for help, but as a “Fact-Checker” to verify if a forwarded message or offer is real.
