About the course

The core goal of AI-SHIFT is to enhance public school teachers’ AI utilization skills, reduce the burden of repetitive administrative tasks, improve work efficiency, and promote a better work-life balance. This program minimizes theory and focuses on hands-on practice, helping teachers see AI as a ‘smart assistant’.

Module Structure

  • Your First Step to Work Innovation with AI

Understand the basic concepts and principles of AI, as well as the necessity of adopting AI in teachers’ work. The module will conduct a hands-on preview to explore the possibilities of using AI tools for administrative tasks.

  • Strengthening Teachers' AI Skills - Prompt Engineering

Learners will deepen their understanding of generative AI principles and learn how to write effective prompts using elements like Persona, Context, and Task. The module will include practical exercises to boost productivity for teaching tasks such as lesson planning and student record management.

  • Hacking Teacher Tasks - Using AI to Leave Work Earlier

Learn practical applications of various AI tools. Learners will experience scenarios where they can immediately apply the tools to create teaching materials, evaluate student work, and manage administrative tasks. The goal is to design a personalized “AI Work Routine” that integrates AI tools to fit learners’ specific work style.

  • Becoming a Master of the AI World (AI Ethics and Sustainability)

Understand the ethical issues and standards of AI, such as bias and personal data protection. Develop critical thinking skills through discussions on AI dilemmas. The module will conclude by sharing learning outcomes from the entire program and establishing strategies to continuously apply AI knowledge in educational settings.
