About the course

AKU MAMPU AI is a training programme on artificial intelligence (AI) designed to support People with Disabilities to be better prepared to compete in the digital job market. In this training, participants will learn what AI is, its various types, and how to use it responsibly to support work activities and daily life. Participants will be equipped with practical skills in using AI platforms to open up remote work opportunities or to increase productivity in the workplace. This programme also encourages Disabled People’s Organisations (DPOs) to become centres of AI knowledge within their communities.

Module Structure

  • Guidelines in using AI platform

    This module serves as a guide or tutorial for Aku Mampu AI training participants on how to access various artificial intelligence-based applications and websites. The module’s content is presented in video format, explaining step-by-step how to access and use several tools. The goal is to help participants become more familiar with and confident in using AI technology in their daily lives and work.

  • Getting to Know AI

    In this module, participants will learn the basic concepts of Artificial Intelligence (AI), including its definition as a branch of computer science that can imitate human thinking abilities, as well as how AI works through data collection and analysis by algorithms, thus becoming important in human life.

  • Uses of AI

    Participants will learn how Artificial Intelligence (AI) has been integrated into everyday life, increasing convenience and efficiency in various fields. This module will also explain common types of AI applications and those that can support accessibility for people with disabilities.

  • How to use AI

    Participants will learn how to use AI effectively through prompting techniques. They will understand the importance of specific and structured prompts to produce quality AI output, such as text or images, by incorporating key elements.

  • Responsible AI

    This module invites participants to explore in practice how Artificial Intelligence (AI) has been integrated into various aspects of daily life. Participants will understand that AI is not just a high-tech concept, but has become part of everyday activities such as communicating, working, shopping, and learning. The module also introduces how AI plays a role in increasing productivity and creating inclusive technologies that can assist people with disabilities.

Annika Linden Centre provides inclusive, rights-based disability services in Indonesia, supporting NGOs and advocacy efforts while enhancing collaboration between organizations and government on disability rights.
