Urdu AI is Pakistan’s first inclusive AI education initiative led by the Welfare Association for New Generation (WANG). The program empowers youth, women, and educators from underserved communities to learn the fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence in Urdu and English. Through hands-on workshops, online sessions, and localized content, Urdu AI demystifies digital tools and promotes practical AI applications for education, small businesses, and community innovation. Beyond formal training, the initiative has grown into a vibrant online community of over one million Urdu speakers who actively engage in learning AI through social media, webinars, and digital campaigns. Urdu AI is now recognized as Pakistan’s leading Urdu-language AI learning platform, bridging the digital divide and promoting equitable access to AI knowledge.
