One-Forty’s AI Training Programme aims to address the barriers preventing Southeast Asian migrant workers in Taiwan from accessing AI education and digital opportunities. Most workers have limited access to training resources, as existing institutions rarely provide courses suited to their needs or schedules. Without exposure to technology and learning materials in familiar languages, they are unable to acquire essential digital and AI skills needed in the modern job market. Language is another major barrier—most AI courses are only in Mandarin or English, making it difficult for migrant workers to understand complex technical concepts. To bridge these gaps, One-Forty provides multilingual, and practical AI training tailored to migrant workers’ realities. Their modules enhance digital literacy, demonstrate AI’s applications in communication and productivity, and link learning outcomes to real employment opportunities.
