In partnership with BMW Foundation, UNESCAP, Inclusive Business Action Network (IBAN), British Council and Credit Suisse, the annual policy programme this year was built into AVPN’s core programming at the flagship members’ conference. The theme of the policy experience at the Conference, “Policy Innovations to Maximise Impact”, brought light to the policymakers’ role in plenaries, breakout discussions as well as the policy-specific programmes like the Policy Showcase and workshops.
Throughout the agenda, policy speakers contributed their perspective on how there can be more innovation and collaboration for greater impact. They represented various parts of government, policy experts, advisors, in speaking on issues ranging from financing climate action, transforming education system, funding the growth of micro-small-medium enterprises, and more.
