Asian Impact Leaders Network

Provide a platform for Asian Leaders to act collectively to enhance their impact

INTRODUCTION

The Asian Impact Leaders Network (AILN)

The Asian Impact Leaders Network (AILN) is a new initiative launched by AVPN as part of its 10 year anniversary. The network builds on the core strength of AVPN, which is to convene and connect leaders from across Asia and provide a platform for them to act collectively and in doing so enhance their impact. The AILN is supported by The Rockefeller Foundation.

Over the last 10 years AVPN has collaborated with numerous inspiring impact leaders who have been at the forefront of building the impact economy in Asia. We have engaged with leaders from government, business and the non-profit sector and AVPN has provided a platform for these leaders to connect with each other, in order to collectively amplify individual efforts, learn from each other in order to cascade the latest ideas around how to achieve systemic change and act together to achieve policy change and address the systemic challenges that we face in mobilising capital to achieve impact in Asia.

As we emerge from the Covid-19 pandemic, it is more important than ever for us to come together and lead the transition to build a new impact economy in Asia. AVPN is launching the AILN to support these efforts by bringing together impact leaders, we can contribute to achieving the systemic and structural change that is required to rebuild and reshape our economies and ensure that the voice of emerging and developing economies are at the centre of decision making. Two years into the Decade of Action, Asia is some way off from achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and concerted, courageous and ambitious leadership will be required to get back on track.

Asian Impact Leaders

Amplify and multiply the impact of Asian leaders

The AILN will come together as a platform to amplify and multiply the impact of Asian leaders by drawing on the resources of the more than 600 members of the AVPN community and by providing a conduit to key decision making forums such as the G20, which is taking place in Indonesia this year. AILN will also play a key role in inspiring action through communicating both the urgency and the potential solutions that exist to many of these critical issues.

By joining the AILN, we aim to bring you closer to the work of AVPN and it is our vision that this will be of mutual benefit for both your work as well as AVPN’s strategic ecosystem building activities.
