Andreas is the Sustainability Director at the Earth Observatory of Singapore. He leads a team of policy and business experts in research and engagement projects, particularly on climate change. He is contributing author to IPCC AR5 with a case study on climate change adaptation in the Mekong River Basin and has developed global and regional climate change scenarios for policy makers and business executives.
Mr. Schaffer has over 18 years of professional experience in Asia-Pacific, US and Europe. He was Associate Partner of Monitor Group and in this capacity led multiple large-scale strategy programs for organizations in the private sector and for government agencies. He built a track record of delivering top and bottom line growth for Fortune 500 firms and regional players, particularly in Asia.
As a senior management advisor Mr. Schaffer worked with Boards of SGX and PSE listed holding firms to redefine their corporate portfolio investment strategies and deliver growth – outperforming their peers. He started his career with Deutsche Bank.
