Adam Eads the Director of Disaster Programs at Give2Asia, working closely with corporate, foundation and individual donors to support disaster recovery and preparedness programs across the Asia-Pacific region. He has extensive experience living, working and traveling in the region and has engaged with community development in Asia on a variety of levels.

Prior to joining Give2Asia in 2014, Adam worked for several years for the Foundation for Sustainable Development, managing six different programs across Asia and Africa, helping small, grassroots NGOs build their capacity through training and grant-making. He also headed a donor education program in India to facilitate a more effective philanthropic community. Before working at FSD he spent significant time in Yangon, Myanmar helping to launch a small community-run school in Thaketa township on the outskirts of the city.

Adam holds an MSc in Environment & Sustainable Development from University of Glasgow and a BA in Sociology from University of California, Santa Cruz. He lives in Oakland, California with his wife (and travel partner) Maria.
