Aektha Wadhwani leads The Global Fund for Children’s Asia fundraising—building relationships with individual donors, developing partnerships with corporations and foundations, and helping to grow GFC’s profile and brand in the philanthropic field. Aektha brings a wealth of experience from the finance industry, having worked for over a decade at Credit Suisse, UBS, and Markit. In addition to her strong business skills, she has a tremendous amount of passion for GFC’s mission and the work GFC does with vulnerable children around the globe. Aektha is from the United Kingdom but has lived in Hong Kong since 2005. She holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and management from King’s College London.
