Anil is Head – Governance Reforms at Janaagraha Centre for Citizenship and Democracy. He leads all the advocacy and reform initiatives at Janaagraha including engagements with Governments at the Centre, State and City levels.

He was earlier part of PRS Legislative Research, a legislative research organisation which provides research support to Members of Parliament and Legislative Assemblies. Anil has an MBA from IIM Calcutta and an engineering degree from VJTI, Mumbai. He is also part of the Executive Committee headed by the Chief Executive Officer. The Executive Committee at Janaagraha is entrusted to devise medium to long term strategy, scale its programs, and ensure sustainability of the organization’s initiatives to achieve its mission.
