Anna Kang is a manager of AVPN’s South Korea team, and she is a consultant at Merry Year Social Company (MYSC).
MYSC is a social innovation consultancy whose main service areas include social venture accelerating, corporate impact venturing, design thinking consultancy, and impact investing. Since 2015, she has been leading the accelerating programs for SPOs in developing and emerging countries, including Vietnam and Indonesia. She is also working as a design thinking facilitator, open innovation consultant and lecturer for college students and corporate partners.
Prior to joining MYSC, she worked as a project manager of public and private grant programs for SPOs at Work Together Foundation. She holds a Bachelor of English Literature and Business degree and a Master’s degree in International Development Cooperation from Ewha Womans University in Korea. While studying International Development, she worked as a researcher for Impact Evaluation Program for KOICA’s Public-Private Partnership Programs in Uganda, Tanzania, and Mongolia. Based on her experiences and knowledge accumulated in the field of International Development and Impact business, Anna is keen to devote herself to helping accelerate social entrepreneurs and innovators in developing countries.
