About

Anna-Marie is the Director and Lead for Philanthropic Collaboration at Co-Impact. She works with results-orientated funders globally who want to give and learn together by pooling their funds to support systems change initiatives. She has over 15 years of experience in the civil society and the private sectors. Previously she was Executive Director and Head of the UHNW Philanthropy Center at UBS in Zurich where she was responsible for thought leadership on strategic philanthropy. This included curating the exclusive UBS Global Philanthropy Forum, working with academic partners, as well as driving the development of the Global Philanthropists Community, an invitation-only network supported by UBS and designed to connect UHNW philanthropists with similar interests to share best practices and encourage collaboration. Prior to UBS she was Senior Research Associate at the European Venture Philanthropy Association where she worked with the 180+ members on best practice topics as well as analyzing the venture philanthropy landscape in Europe. At Ashoka, she helped social entrepreneurs scale up their business models. In Mexico, she worked with a family foundation focused on education, health and economic opportunities particularly for women, where her responsibilities spanned social investment strategy to post investment impact measurement. Anna-Marie began her career in investment banking at Credit Suisse working in both London and Zurich. She holds an MBA from IESE Business School in Barcelona and an MA (Hons) in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from Oxford University. Originally from the United Kingdom, she speaks English, Spanish and French and is making progress in German. She lives in Zurich with her husband and son.
