Dr. Nur Anuar Abdul Muthalib is the Lead for Education/Scholarships, Strategy & Partnership at Yayasan Hasanah – a foundation of Khazanah Nasional. Prior to joining Hasanah in 2016, Dr. Anuar was with the Educational Planning and Research Division, MOE Malaysia and had also spent six years as Education Specialist with UNICEF. With almost thirty years’ experience in the education sector in the fields of language development, teacher training, leadership, research, and policy analysis, his current interests focus on bridging equity gaps and promoting quality in education; flexible learning for out-of-school children, and assessment for students with learning difficulties. In his spare time, he enjoys cycling and travelling. Anuar obtained his Ph.D. in Policy Analysis from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, USA; M.Ed in Management from the University of Bristol, UK, and B.Ed. (Hons) in TESL and English Literature from the University of Winnipeg, Canada.
