Prof Bambang Brodjonegoro currently serves as the Lead Co-Chair of the T20 Indonesia as well as Professor of Economics at the University of Indonesia. In addition, he is also the President Commissioner/Independent Commissioner PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, President Commissioner PT Bukalapak.com and Independent Commissioner PT TBS Energi Utama Tbk.

Previously, he served as Minister of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia (2014 – 2016), Minister of National Development Planning of the Republic of Indonesia (2016 – 2019) and Minister of Research and Technology/Chief of National Research and Innovation Agency of the Republic of Indonesia (2019 – 2021). He obtained his Bachelor of Economics from Universitas Indonesia and Master of Urban Planning as well as PhD in Urban & Regional Planning from the University of Illinois, USA.
