Bennet Barth joined the BMW Foundation in 2019 to set-up and run the RESPOND impact accelerator program as Program Director. RESPOND works with entrepreneurs across the globe to accelerate sustainable business models, drive innovation and empower responsible leadership. Bennet is also part of the investment team at BMW Foundation, where he is scouting for and examining impact investment opportunities within the foundations asset management and promoting sustainable finance and impact investment programmatically. 

Bennet studied industrial engineering with a focus on mechanical engineering as well as economics in Berlin and Lisbon. He previously worked in international development cooperation in South-East Asia and at an international impact venture capital firm with offices in London and Lisbon. Bennet contributed to various publications around the topics of impact investment, entrepreneurship and social innovation in Europe.
