Binali Suhandani is AVPN's Partnership Director, Middle East & South Asia and CEO of AVPN India.

She has 25 years of experience in the Philanthropic sector across India and South Asia markets. In the last 5+ years, under her direction, AVPN South Asia has been established and has brought together an ecosystem of social investors, from philanthropists to impact investors and corporate CSR professionals intending to move Capital towards Impact.

She will now be focussing on developing and implementing the Partnership Strategy for AVPN in South Asia and the Middle East while continuing the development of existing and fledgling key relationships and contacts.

Prior to AVPN, Binali has served the Tata Trusts in establishing a Strategic Joint Grant making platform for investments in Nutrition Advocacy.  She has also served the Akshaya Patra Foundation as a Country head for 7 years where she has been instrumental in raising millions in funding for its nation-wide programme while building its credibility and brand.

The basis of her sectoral experience came in from the initial 10 + years which were focussed on co-establishing the Indian arm of Sense International, UK, and a Federation of women aimed at microfinance as a part of Women’s World Bank.
