Save the Date for AVPN Events
Birat is a programme, partnerships, and philanthropy specialist with over a decade of experience in private and public sectors, including strategic country-level and regional roles with multiple UN agencies and the Red Cross. He currently works as a Philanthropy Specialist, for the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), looking after their engagement with corporates and foundations in Asia and the Pacific. Prior to joining the ICRC, he was a Programme and Partnership Specialist at UN Women in China, running a multimillion-dollar COVID-19 recovery programme for women-owned SMEs in Wuhan and Tianjin, and has also held a marketing and editorial role for the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UN OCHA).
