About

Mr. Busetto is a leader in pioneering and scaling innovative financing and business models for sustainable development. Prior to his recent appointment in Singapore to lead the new Centre, Bradley was based in NY as Senior Advisor to the UNDP Administrator in NY, where he led the design/launch of UNDP’s flagship initiative of a global network of innovation labs. Also in NY, he designed the UN’s new SDG Fund to catalyse investment in the developing world. Previously (2013-2018) Bradley was the United Nations Representative in Armenia, where he became a leader in driving new approaches to development, including setting up the UN’s first social venture incubator, and then a national SDG Innovation Lab as well as an impact investment fund. Mr. Busetto was recognized for this work by the Future of Innovation Summit, co-hosted by Stanford University and Rockefeller Foundation. Earlier in his UN career Bradley served in humanitarian missions with the World Food Programme – he helped lead the emergency response after the Indian Ocean tsunami, and previously served in Iraq, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Kosovo. With WFP Bradley also led the partnership with the Children’s Investment Fund Foundation, setting up a new global nutrition initiative for young children. Bradley also held an executive role at the Wellcome Trust, the leading global health foundation, responsible for expanding its international operations. The California native has also worked in the private sector, including banking and management consulting, and has also co-founded a start-up. Mr. Busetto graduated with honors from Stanford University, where he also earned a master’s degree in philosophy. He was awarded the Medal of Honor from the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia.
