Charlie Hartono brings 13 years of partnership development experience across the corporate and non-profit sectors. At the Mastercard Center for Inclusive Growth, he leads the Mastercard Academy 2.0, a flagship skilling initiative to empower 100,000 Indonesians to go digital for a lifetime. 
 
Before joining the Center, Charlie worked for World Vision Indonesia, UNICEF’s Global Innovation Center in Malawi, UNICEF Indonesia, and IBM. Charlie has been instrumental in managing multi-million dollar grant portfolios, launching new digital platforms, driving social media strategies, and cultivating public-private partnerships focused on social impact. 
 
Charlie earned a Masters in International Business from Auckland University and a B.A. in Economics from Trisakti School of Management. Charlie was also a New Zealand ASEAN Scholar.
