Ms. Kirtland is Managing Director of Mornington Services Pte Ltd, a Singapore-incorporated family-office services company. Mornington is a dedicated family office which provides wealth management and fiduciary services for family members.

Prior to starting Mornington in 1999, Ms. Kirtland was Managing Director at Chase Manhattan's Private Bankfrom 1995 to 1999. She began her professional career at J.P. Morgan which she joined upon graduating from the Colgate Darden Graduate School of Business Administrationwith an MBA at the University of Virginia in 1981. Ms. Kirtland received a B.A. (Hons.) in Economics from Hollins College (Virginia) in 1979 where she was also elected to Phi Beta Kappa.

At J.P. Morgan, Ms. Kirtland worked in fixed income securities trading and sales (1981-84, 1985-89) and the Private Bank (1990-1995) in New York and Singapore. In 1984, she started a Eurobond distribution business at Bank of America's Investment Securities Division in San Francisco before rejoining J.P. Morgan in 1985.

Ms. Kirtland is a Trustee Emerita of the Darden School Foundation at the University of Virginia after serving as a full member of the Board of Trustees from October 2000-October 2006. She oversees 2 private family foundations that fund projects in environmental conservation, education and public health.

Ms. Kirtland teaches a class, "Ethics in Private Wealth Management" at the Wealth Management Institute (a subsidiary of Temasek Holdings Limited).
