Genevieve Heng, co-founder of Anthem Asia, is an experienced finance and investment professional with a career in private equity and investment banking spanning nearly 20 years. Ms. Heng was a senior member of CLSA Capital Partner’s pan-Asian private equity firm for 13 years. Previously she worked for seven years in information technology.

Ms. Heng has worked on investment transactions in India, China, Indonesia, Singapore, South Korea, Hong Kong and Myanmar in such sectors as food & beverage, industrial goods, fast-moving consumer goods, and logistics & distribution. She has been instrumental in sourcing and directing investments into mid-market public and private companies, leading the value-add, monitoring and divestment phases. Her experience also includes mergers & acquisition, joint ventures, listings, due diligence, portfolio monitoring, structuring and valuation, financial and strategic planning, investor relations and serving as a director on company boards. She has advised and managed private equity funds.

Singaporean Ms. Heng holds an MBA from London Business School and attended University of Chicago’s Graduate School of Business as an international exchange student. She is a member of the Singapore Institute of Directors and a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst and Chartered Financial Analyst.
