Constant set up in 2012 the local Chapter in Singapore of the World Business Council for Sustainable Development. He brings a wealth of experience gained in the construction, telecom and manufacturing sectors.
As head of the BCSD Singapore, he shapes and implements projects in Southeast Asia. His activities range from sharing knowhow, tools and methodologies related to sustainability to engaging in national and regional advocacy with governments and business.
Initiator of the Wastewater Gardens applied research project, he is now looking for partners to scale up and deploy the solution throughout Indonesia and beyond.
As VP Public Affairs & Sustainable Development at LafargeHolcim, he co-led the Lafarge affordable housing programme that provided housing for 250,000 people in 20 countries. He was also a corporate strategy senior analyst at Alcatel-Lucent and sat on various Boards of a Foundation and on a United Nation public-private sector initiative.
He started his career as a civil engineer with a Master’s degree from the ETHZ (Switzerland). Later, he obtained an MBA from Cranfield University (UK) and a SMU-SID Executive Diploma of Directorship.
He is an avid badminton player and a former competitive car racing driver.
