Catherine Sobrevega is an international development professional with over 30 years of NGO work experience as Country Director, Senior Country, and Program Manager for projects that focused on women’s empowerment, market systems, investment, and microfinance specifically in post-conflict areas. Catherine has been with MEDA for over 15 years, managing a range of women’s economic empowerment projects in Afghanistan, Northern Ghana, and Myanmar. Prior to joining MEDA, Catherine worked for International Rescue Committee in Bosnia, The World Fish Center in Bangladesh, and for CARE International in the Philippines, Eritrea, and Afghanistan.
