About

Delima is a social development practitioner with over six years of experience working with vulnerable groups. She holds a Master’s degree in Coexistence and Conflict Resolution from Brandeis University in Boston and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Melbourne. While working in a women & children’s shelter, she decided to specialise in the field of children and youth, leading her to pursue an Advanced Diploma in Child and Youth Work from George Brown College, Toronto. She has worked with youth in refugee centres, juvenile detention centres, and low-income communities. Delima uses a trauma-informed approach and draws on her understanding of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) to develop her relationships and programmes with community beneficiaries, as well as in the workplace.
