Dien Yuen is a philanthropy advisor to families and to leading businesses and institutions in the U.S. and Asia. In 2012, she founded Kordant Philanthropy Advisors, a research and advisory firm to help clients design meaningful and relevant philanthropic experiences that maximizes the social impact of our clients’ resources.
Dien has been committed to the philanthropic planning and social investment sectors all through her career. She was Chief Philanthropy Officer at Give2Asia, where she served as a resource to donors wishing to give in Asia and built the organization’s business development unit. Prior to that, she managed the portfolio of large and complex giving programs for institutional clients at a leading wealth management company. She has also spent years developing new philanthropic programs at IIT Bombay Heritage Fund, Asian Pacific Fund and American Cancer Society.
She holds a J.D., LL.M. in International Law, and a Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy (CAP) designation.
