Doris has over 20 years of experience in investing and technology commercialisation. 

She was involved in the formation and served on the Investment Committees of both  iGlobe Partners and iGlobe Treasury, venture capital funds with investments in US, Asia, Europe and New Zealand. As an investor and Board member, she has mentored CEOs, assisted in the recruitment of key management, independent board members, undertaken business development and assisted in fundraising, acquisitions and exit opportunities.

At the National Science and Technology Board, she pioneered the Venture Incentive Scheme and led the organization’s efforts to promote R&D investments in the electronics and telecommunications industries and designed the Research Incentive Scheme for Companies which resulted in more than $1bn investment commitments by major U.S. and Japanese companies into Singapore.

She has been involved with the Singapore Venture  Capital and Private Equity Association (SVCA), the representative body for private equity and venture capital fund institutions in Singapore as Honorary Secretary since 2007. She currently assumes the duties of the Executive Director heading the Secretariat and representing the SVCA on the Asia Venture Capital and Private Equity Council (AVCPEC).

Doris is a Certified Trainer/Facilitator and Assessor. Doris holds an MBA and a Bachelor Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering with Honours, both from the National University of Singapore. She is a Full Member of the Singapore Institute of Directors.
