Fatima Dafaalla is the Senior Associate for the CEO’s Office at AVPN, providing strategic coordination and executive support to the Chief of Staff to advance the network’s mission, specifically across West Asia. With over five years of experience in the international development sector, Fatima has a proven track record of developing large-scale social impact programmes and fostering strategic partnerships with UN agencies, global foundations, and government entities. Prior to AVPN, she was a Programme Development and Resource Mobilisation Specialist at Save the Children, where she led and supported fundraising efforts in Sudan, Zambia, Palestine, and Afghanistan. With a background in Mechanical Engineering, Fatima specialises in transforming complex data into actionable executive insights. Her expertise and education makes her a pivotal link between AVPN’s regional vision and its execution. Driven by her engineering background, Fatima views social impact through the lens of systems thinking. She is fascinated by how the smallest adjustment can change the output of anything, much like how a single strategic partnership can shift the trajectory of an entire social ecosystem.
