Gilang is the Manager of the Capital Mobilisation team at AVPN, supporting the management of philanthropic funds and ecosystem-building initiatives across Asia. Gilang brings extensive experience working with civil society organisations, government, and corporate sectors through his roles in various public and development-focused institutions, including the Office of the President of Indonesia, USAID, and McKinsey.org/Delterra. He has led multiple initiatives focused on social inclusion, particularly in youth civic engagement and resourcing. He is also part of the founding team of Participate, an Indonesia-based organisation that advocates for the meaningful inclusion of marginalised communities in development initiatives. Gilang holds a Master’s degree in Power, Participation, and Social Change from the Institute of Development Studies (IDS), UK, where he deepened his grounding in participatory design and practice for social change.
