Geetanjali Master is a public private partnerships specialist at UNICEF India. She has been with the organisation for over 16 years. After having worked in the field offices of UNICEF India, she moved to the head Office for India, based at New Delhi. Her main area of expertise is Partnerships. She leads engagement with businesses and aggregators to help in building the discourse around child rights and business principles. She also works closely with the Ministry of Corporate affairs and Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs to advocate for the uptake of National Guidelines for Responsible Business Conduct among businesses. Through her work, Geetanjali helps embed responsible business practices within and across business ecosystems and value chains, whilst also supporting key programme results for children. She manages the IMPAct4Nutrition platform through support from key businesses, as it has been established to engage businesses that will contribute to the Nutrition agenda thereby supporting the POSHAN abhiyaan. Geetanjali is actively involved in supporting Workplace Policies and sustainability in businesses to promote Business for Results. She obtained her Bachelors in Commerce from Delhi University and her Masters in Sociology from Annamalai University in India. Geetanjali speaks English, Hindi and has also briefly learnt Spanish. She is married, and has two girls. In her free time she does science and cooking experiments with her girls and plays lego with them. Her passions are travelling to remote unknown places and continue learning Hindustani classical music.
