Hiral has worked in the funding eco-system with a wide range of stakeholders including government, corporates as well as non-profits across India. She began her career working as a CSR professional in a Navratna Public sector Unit –Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited, where she played a key role in formulating the Company CSR policy and creating effective mechanisms to monitor the on ground implementation of projects. Most recently she worked towards resource mobilization in India School Leadership Institute (ISLI), an Akanksha Foundation project. She is intrigued by the catalysing role of capital in the development sector and potential of its deployment towards strategic impact.
She has a Masters in Development Studies from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai and a Bachelors in Zoology from The Maharaja Sayaji Rao University of Baroda. She has also been a recipient of the DAAD Scholarship (German Academic Exchange Service).
