About

Jared has managed signature projects at the Lien Centre for Social Innovation for the past 6 years, including the Social iCon conference, the Social Space publication, and the iLEAP Professional Course for Non-Profit Leaders. He has written articles on corporate social innovation, mergers & acquisitions for NGOs, the social economy and equity-based crowdfunding for non-profits.

His previous roles took him to the Singapore International Foundation, Child Right & You (Mumbai), Halogen Foundation, and National Council of Social Service. As part of his volunteer work, he led and facilitated service learning expeditions to Kolkata, Bangalore and Mysore. He was the Founding President of a now-defunct youth society called The Choice Initiative whose mission was to empower youths to make better choices.

A connector for the social sector, he is in his element working across various issues and fostering collaborations among different organisations. He holds a Bachelor of Communication Studies from the Wee Kim Wee School of Communications, and is currently a post-graduate candidate for the Master of Tri-Sector Collaboration.
