About

Jeanine Holden is the Associate Director of Program Design for the Effective Philanthropy Learning Initiative at Stanford’s Center on Philanthropy and Civil Society. She is a seasoned philanthropy advisor and practitioner supporting EPLI’s mission to educate a continually evolving and committed donor ecosystem on the fundamentals of an outcomes- and beneficiary-centered orientation to effective philanthropic practice. Jeanine is committed to the work of building more capacity, justice, and redistributed power in the world through thoughtful, strategic, collaborative philanthropy. She brings over 20 years of nonprofit fundraising experience and a multigenerational philanthropy lens to inform her skilled understanding of the inner workings and efficacies of the charitable giver and receiver relationship. Jeanine holds a BA in Religion from St. Olaf College, and has completed a broad range of philanthropy and nonprofit management courses at Indiana University’s Lilly Family School of Philanthropy and the University of St. Thomas. She is a Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy (CAP®) through the American College of Financial Services; holds a Certificate of Effective Philanthropy from Stanford PACS; and is a trained 21/64 Certified Advisor and Certified Facilitator.
