Jetu has 28 years of work experience in conceptualizing, investing and building companies in India from the ground up, in the Education, Engineering, Electronics & Chemicals industries with joint ventures with Saab (Sweden), Dresser Industries & Emerson Electric (USA), and Degussa (Germany).

Jetu had dedicated 25 years and continues to contribute to the education initiatives in Mumbai. As a school parent, he has volunteered to be the Vice Chairman and Treasurer of the DSB International School, a bi-lingual school in Mumbai. For the past 7 years, DSB and Jetu have many operational achievements including the establishment of a curriculum twinning program with British Grammar schools. Jetu is also the Vice President of Jai Hind College and the Junior & Degree College in Mumbai, a college with more than 5,000 students. He has been associated with the College in various capacities and is instrumental in charting the development strategy of Jai Hind College. Currently he is leading the tie-up with a British University for the new MBA facility.

He has had 4 Board representations and formed 6 best-in-class overseas joint ventures, with successful exits. Jetu’s joint ventures achieved market leadership position in products of 5 companies through strategic direction, diversification, and culture building. He has managed over 400 employees, scaled businesses and implemented corporate governance standards through the development of operation processes, HR management and transparent reporting.

Jetu has been a champion of corporate governance in all his ventures and was elected the Ethics Officer for Emerson Electric for Saab Rosemount’s Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) compliance.

Jetu has a Bachelors of Commerce from Sydenham College of Mumbai and is an alumni of the Owner/President Management program of the Harvard Business School.
