Julian Hermann is senior project manager in the department of International Relations America and Asia at the Robert Bosch Stiftung. In his work he focusses on Culture, Civil Society and International Politics and Global Issues.

He began his career in the field of culture and design and shifted subsequently to international relations. His previous employers include exhibition planning and design agencies in Berlin and Tokyo, the Goethe-Institut (German cultural institute) and the German Federal Foreign Office.
 
Julian Hermann holds a master’s degree in Japanese Studies, Art History and International Law. He studied at the University of Heidelberg and at the University of Education in Nara, Japan.
