Josh has over ten years of experience in the international development space, primarily focused on helping people use digital technology more effectively to achieve development outcomes. He is currently based in Bangkok from where he has overseen activities focused on promoting the uptake of digital technologies, including digital finance services (DFS), in Bangladesh, Thailand and Myanmar, as well as serving as a technical expert on technology and digital finance in several other countries. He is the author of numerous toolkits and publications on using technology for development, including co-authoring the report Mobile Financial Services in Bangladesh: A Survey of Current Services, Regulations, and Usage in Select USAID Projects. He has also conducted trainings on using technology, including DFS, for hundreds of people across more than 10 countries globally.
