KO Chia joined Grace Financial Limited in January 2010 and is part of the executive management team.

KO has 30+ years of diverse investment and operational business experience, particularly in the areas of private equity and direct investment, gained internationally.  He began his long professional career with Hewlett-Packard where he held various manufacturing, product management and sales management positions in Europe and Asia-Pacific, and was subsequently at Apple Computer in Asia. Later, he was part of an entrepreneurial team, building Premisys Communications, Incorporated; a venture-backed hi-tech start-up, from scratch to IPO. Prior to joining Grace Financial, he was Managing Director at Walden International, a US$1.6B, US-Asia private equity venture capital firm.

KO received his MBA from Strathclyde University in Scotland, Graduate Diploma in Management Studies from Edinburgh Napier University in Scotland, and BEng (Hons) Electronics Engineering from Sheffield University in England.  On the community side, he serves as the President of Hong Kong Venture Capital & Private Equity Association; Chairman of the Advisory Board at College of International Education, Hong Kong Baptist University; Trustee of Edinburgh Napier University HK Scholarship Fund; and Member of the Hong Kong SAR Government Community Investment & Inclusion Fund to seed community revival projects using a social capital approach.

KO believes in empowering people to deliver their best, allowing them the freedom to explore and discover their talents. His passion is in Social Impact investments where he attempts to bring together the private equity discipline and entrepreneurial approach to socially focused projects for double bottom line returns.

KO is married to Anita and they have two young adult boys.
