Katharine Zafiris serves as a Senior Associate on the GIIN?s Market Building team. In this role, she manages the GIIN's Listed Equities Working Group, exploring strategies for pursuing impact in listed equities, and she supports the development of the Product Development Platform, working with GIIN members to co-develop impact investment products.

Previously, Katharine co-led the GIIN?s Gender Lens Investing Initiative and Working Group, supporting impact investors, actively integrating, or interested in integrating, a gender lens strategy into their investment portfolio. Prior to joining the GIIN, Katharine worked at several New York-based nonprofit organizations, including American Ballet Theatre, Harboring Hearts, and Pencils of Promise, where her roles spanned development, finance and event planning.

Katharine holds a BA in International Studies from Boston College.
