Lawrence Teh is the Country Head of Tanoto Foundation (TF) Singapore, where he oversees programs, special initiatives and partnership opportunities in the education and medical philanthropy space. He is also a Board Director of Centre for Fathering, a NPO that aims to promote active and involved fathering. 

Prior to joining TF, Lawrence held various leadership, business planning, partnership development, and diplomatic positions at the Singapore Armed Forces, Ministry of Defence, and the Singapore International Foundation. 

Lawrence holds a B.Eng (First Class Hons) in Aeronautical Engineering from Imperial College, London; a M.Sc in International Political Economy from RSIS-Nanyang Technological University; and a MBA from Singapore Management University. He attended the 9th Governance and Leadership Program and the 11th General Management Program conducted by the Singapore Civil Service College and Harvard Business School respectively; and was the top foreign student graduate of the Indonesia Army Command and Staff College in 2000, and the Indonesia National Resilience Institute in 2012. 

Lawrence was awarded the Commendation Medal (Military) in 2005 and the Public Administration Medal - Bronze (Military) in 2011. He's married to Janelle and they have four children Keon, Kyler, Keian and Krisalyn.
