The AVPN Global Conference is the largest social investing convening in Asia that gathers funders and resource providers from across the world to share knowledge, build strategic partnerships, and address socio-economic challenges at scale.
Lehui is a Senior Manager for AVPN's Hong Kong team and the Head of Purpose Capital at Social Ventures Hong Kong, an impact purpose organisation committed to innovating social change for Hong Kong’s urban social issues. Lehui’s work revolves around synthesising society’s resources from partners across all sectors and enabling these assets to have a social impact in enriching Hong Kong’s communities. Lehui enjoys hiking and hopes to complete all sections of Hong Kong’s four major trails someday. Prior to joining the social innovation sector, Lehui was an investment banker specialising in equity capital markets in Asia, and graduated from Wellesley College with a degree in economics.
We see social investment as a continuum that encompasses everything from philanthropy and venture philanthropy to impact investing, CSR and sustainable investment. We call this the “Continuum of Capital”.
