Mary-Ann Khoo is the manager of National Volunteer & Philanthropy Centre, a national body established to promote volunteerism and philanthropy in Singapore. In her current position, she works very closely with the civil society groups in Singapore to advocate sustainable and impactful volunteer engagement practices. 

Prior to getting involved in the non-profit sector, Mary-Ann has done mission work in East Timor, teaching as a volunteer English teacher, undertaking secretariat work and overseeing poverty-alleviation projects. She is also an avid volunteer and besides being a regular volunteer in her own country, she has volunteered overseas in Indonesia, Mongolia, India and China.
