Remi is a program assistant of the International Project Planning and Development Department that is currently focusing on innovative finance, women’s empowerment, ageing issues. Since the establishment of this new department, she has been involved in the projects of ‘Muslim Democrats’, ‘Ageing Asia’ and in project development of humanitarian and disarmament, and infection disease in Asia. Prior to working at the Sasakawa Peace Foundation (SPF), she has been studying at the International Development Department (IDD) at the University of Birmingham and has conducted the research on the impact of civil society activities on women’s urban livelihood in Nairobi, Kenya. She finished her undergraduate education in Public Policy from International Christian University, Tokyo.
