Melanie is an Associate with the Global Agribusiness Alliance and the Food & Nature Program at the World Business Council for Sustainable Development. She focuses on agricultural development and private sector sustainability, with experience across key issues such as food security, human rights, water stewardship, and food loss and waste. Currently based in Singapore, Melanie has lived and worked in the United States, South Africa, and Cambodia, and has carried out projects across Africa and Asia with organizations including the World Food Programme, World Cocoa Foundation, and the UN Food and Agriculture Organization. She has a master?s degree in public affairs from the University of Texas at Austin and a bachelor?s degree from the College of William and Mary.
