About

With both accounting degrees from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and the University of Southern Queensland (Australia), I worked as financial manager for 9 years since 1988. Afterwards I started my executive search firm since 1997 and began the career as consultant. My specialist skills are in business development, executive search, strategic planning, fund raising, project management and business implementation. I strive for sustainable life value, balanced life style, and willing to take new challenges in order to develop more and better social capital and quality. I have been developing a series of training modules for startups and social enterprises, such as: skills of business plan writing, social enterprise and social impact assessment, startup financing and venture capital funding. Currently I am working for the CUHK Center for Entrepreneurship as the Project Director for organizing business plan competition, research, training and angel investment forum. Under this capacity, I also serve as the Business Consultant for the Incubatee Program of the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks since 2010. I also started the first CUHK Alumni Entrepreneur Census to investigate the success factors of leading entrepreneurs from local university education. Being the co-author of a book series “CU Alumni Entrepreneurs”, I am leading the consulting and educational programs “ACE Hub” and “Pi Centre” at CUHK in order to nurture an ecosystem for alumni entrepreneurship and nurturing young startups respectively. Besides volunteering in several alumni associations of CUHK, I am the Founding Chairman of AIESEC Alumni Association of Hong Kong. Currently I am the Certified Member of the Institute of Certified Management Accountants (ICMA), Member of Institute of Public Accountants (MIPA) from Australia, and the Founding Member of Hong Kong Institute of Social Impact Analysts (HKISIA).
