The AVPN Global Conference is the largest social investing convening in Asia that gathers funders and resource providers from across the world to share knowledge, build strategic partnerships, and address socio-economic challenges at scale.
Naoko is a Partner based in Nairobi, who advises multilateral and bilateral organizations, corporations, foundations, and NGOs on strategy, financial planning and management, market analysis, and monitoring and evaluation. She has experience in agribusiness, global health, inclusive business models, business start-up strategy, access to finance, trade and investment policy, and financial management. Naoko’s recent work includes assisting private companies to develop inclusive business models targeting low-income populations as customers, as well as assessing such models’ social impact. For example, she has advised an energy company to establish a business model to distribute an alternative energy source to urban poor on a commercial basis and supported the pilot’s design, monitoring, and partnership-building. Prior to Dalberg, Naoko worked for the International Finance Corporation, where she held positions at the Independent Evaluation Group and the Investment Climate Advisory Services. Naoko holds an MA in Public Administration in International Development from Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government and is a US Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
