Nita is currently based at the headquarter in Chiang Mai, Thailand and works to support the founders of Child's Dream in handling complex donor reports and fundraising applications and, through research and analyses, to ensure effective outputs, outcomes and performances of our various non-profit interventions (projects/programmes) under our four focus groups - Basic Education, Higher Education, Health and Social Entrepreneurship Grants. Nita grew up in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, a least-developed country where she was and has been very conscious of how corruption and inequalities can greatly hamper socioeconomic opportunities and personal advancement anywhere. After graduating with dual Bachelor's degrees- BEd in English and BA in International Relations, Nita became a teacher for four years at Australian Centre for Education of International Development Programme. This was where she realised that holistic education can identify the root causes of longstanding social problems and introduce effective solutions. With scholarships from the UK Government- Chevening and Cambridge Trust, Nita graduated from the University of Cambridge, UK, in 2017 with an MPhil degree in Education: Educational Leadership and School Improvement.
