A successful tech executive with 20 years in Europe and North America, Njara Zafimehy serves as Senior Vice President of Epic Foundation.
Njara started his career by developing and marketing music download and streaming services as well as Netflix-like SVOD and catch-up TV services for Kering’s Fnac Group, Vivendi’s Canal Plus Group and technology startup AudioSoft. In 2008, he was appointed COO of VC-backed ScrOOn, a leading social marketing software solution that was acquired by BlackBerry in 2013. Njara joined the mobile communications specialist to serve as Global Head of Media Sales for social messaging mobile application “BBM“ from BlackBerry’s global HQ in Canada. 

Of Malagasy descent, Njara has always had a strong and unique bond with Madagascar (the 5th poorest country in the world). As he actively supports his mother’s NGO that provides free eye consultations and surgery to the underprivileged in Madagascar, he joined Epic Foundation, a non-profit organization that bridges the gap between a new generation of donors - philanthropists, corporations and foundations - and organizations supporting children and youth globally. Epic is developing new tools focused on enhancing how donors select, monitor and experience their impact. 

Njara currently serves as SVP, Global head of development at Epic Foundation, the global non-profit startup that bridges the gap between a new generation of impact-focused individual and corporate donors and high impact social organizations that tackle children and youth issues globally. Epic Foundation is developing new tools focused on enhancing how donors select, monitor and experience their impact.
